1. Data controller
The data controller is the host of Breath of Garda, a private holiday apartment in Riva del Garda (TN), Italy (CIN IT022153C2LML5P8YA). You can reach the host by phone or WhatsApp at +39 342 153 8956.
2. Data we process
Only the data you choose to send us when you call or write on WhatsApp: typically your name, phone number, travel dates, number of guests and the content of your message. The enquiry form on this website does not store or send anything itself: it simply opens WhatsApp with your message prefilled. This website uses no analytics, advertising or profiling tools.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your data only to answer your enquiry and, if you book, to arrange your stay (steps taken at your request before a contract and performance of the contract, art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and to meet legal obligations that apply to holiday rentals (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Map
The interactive OpenStreetMap map is loaded only if you click "Show map" (consent, art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, D.Lgs. 196/2003). Until then, no request is made to OpenStreetMap. See the cookie policy.
5. Hosting
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages records technical data (such as IP address and time of the request) in its logs for security and operation (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Bookings via platforms
If you book through Airbnb or Booking.com, those companies process your data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
7. Sharing and transfers
We do not sell or share your data for marketing. WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland / Meta, which may process data outside the EU under its own safeguards.
8. Retention
Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and manage any resulting stay, and longer only where the law requires.
9. Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time (arts. 15–22 GDPR), by phone or WhatsApp at the number above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
